By creating an account or using TimeLoop, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
TimeLoop lets you write journal entries and optionally generate alternate perspectives and images. Output is for personal reflection only. It is not therapy, medical, legal, or professional advice.
2. Your account
You must be at least 13. Provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.
3. Your content
You keep rights to your journal entries. You grant us a limited license to store them and to send them to service providers solely to operate TimeLoop (including AI generation you request).
Do not submit illegal content, others’ private information without permission, or content that exploits minors.
4. AI generations
Generations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unexpected. Limits, credits, and free allowances may change. Unused daily allowances do not roll over. Purchased credit packs do not expire.
5. Plans and payments
Paid plans and in-app purchases are billed through Apple or Google. RevenueCat tracks entitlements. Their refund and cancellation rules apply. See the Refund Policy.
Current allowances (may change):
- Free: 3 text generations per day; Alternate Outcomes included with those generations (3 per generation, 9 per day).
- Pro (monthly or yearly): 20 text generations per day; 1 image per day; +10 image credits every month; Alternate Outcomes included with those generations (3 per generation, 60 per day).
- Credits: 1 text generation = 1 credit; 1 image = 5 credits. Subscription credits reset each billing month. Yearly Pro still receives the +10 credits each month, not once a year.
6. Acceptable use
No scraping, reselling the service, attacking the app, bypassing limits, or using TimeLoop to spam or harm others.
7. Availability
The app may change, break, or stop. We are not liable for lost entries, failed generations, or downtime beyond what the law requires.
8. Disclaimer
TimeLoop is provided “as is.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to TimeLoop is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app and request account deletion at support@timeloop.fyi. We may end access if you violate these terms.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept them.
12. Disputes
Virginia law governs, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise.

Refund Policy

Subscriptions and credit packs are charged by Apple or Google, not by TimeLoop directly.
Subscriptions
Cancel in App Store or Google Play. Canceling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current period.
Request refunds from the store that charged you:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google Play: Payments & subscriptions
TimeLoop cannot issue store refunds. If the store grants a refund, Pro access and unused subscription credits may be removed.
Credit packs
Unused pack credits do not expire. Pack refunds go through Apple or Google. Used credits are generally not restorable.
Free allowance
Free daily text and included Alternate Outcomes are not purchases. No refund applies.
Failed generations
If a paid image fails to render, use the in-app composition retry when offered. Billing problems: email support@timeloop.fyi with the store order ID. We can help you reach the store. We cannot override Apple or Google.
